One of the most unique things about the Marion County Fair is that it offers something for everyone. Whether you are a fan of beauty pageants, photography, animals, baking, demolition derbies, or amusement park rides, the fair has something for you!  With all of these events, as well as many more provided to fair goers year after year, it is safe to say that the fair attracts a very diverse audience.

For this year’s campaign, we wanted to capitalize on this, and we thought what better way to do this than by using a song entitled “County Fair” performed by the Elms. According to the song, the county fair is “Where the good times come.” In terms of the Marion County Fair, these “good times” come in the form of all of the unique activities offered to attendees as well as participants. The chorus ends with the phrase “and I’ll meet you there, at the county fair!” By utilizing a diverse range of “good times,” the fair has become a gathering place for all members of Marion County, and seeks to provide all county residents with a unique fair experience tailored to their specific interests.

Therefore, we are proud to introduce the new campaign for the Marion County Fair. We will “Meet You At The Marion County Fair” June 21-29, 2013!
